An Evolution of Workplace Wellness - Top Trends for 2017 & Beyond

On Wednesday February 8, join the Ontario Workplace Health Coalition as we take a pulse-check on the Workplace Wellness trends of 2017. Workplace Wellness is in a state of evolution, with stakeholders moving away from ROI metrics and physical health, to a culture of wellness that embraces technology, total well-being and intrinsic rewards. We will discuss the top trending wellness themes impacting today's businesses and provide simple ways to adapt these ideas. The Coalition is shifting our focus as well to stay current with the needs of today's workplace. We are creating a forum of ideas exchanges to support this new concept of wellness. This webinar will touch on the exciting new developments and direction of the Ontario Workplace Health Coalition in 2017. We are happy to make a limited number of complimentary tickets available for students - first come, first served. Please note this is a webinar only event.

On Monday September 19, join the Ontario Workplace Health Coalition (OWHC) and Canadian Workplace Wellness Pioneer Award Winner Marion Reeves, as she presents an informative case study: "From Textbook to the Street: Lessons learnt in Workplace Wellness"

Marion Reeves, Wellness Co-ordinator for Peel Regional Police, will discuss successes and pitfalls that have helped shaped the healthy lifestyle program in an organization with a para-military culture and challenges that range from shift work to multiple locations and changes in policing. Using her theoretical knowledge gained from teaching program planning in the post-graduate Workplace Wellness program at Centennial College, Marion will share stories of the development of some of the unique programs that have been tweaked and retooled as technology and other influences have created barriers and opportunities.
